For the air between things, Lopez shows recent works addressing his collaborative practice as that of kinship and protection. Like the ancestors that are constantly around us, our kin help us be aware that we did not make ourselves. Our tribe echoes our efforts like a mirror, and our hands constantly grow more fingers. The objects in this exhibition explore the hexes that are built during his collaborations.
